Generally, oxygen is liquefied for efficient transportation and storage. However, most of its use is after vaporizing it to the gaseous form.

SAFETY

Liquid medical oxygen

Usage of liquid oxygen through the cryogenic container.

Use a vaporizer between the storage tank and supply line to control flow and pressure.

During decanting of the liquid, the worker must use safety equipment.

Do not permit smoking or open flames in areas where liquid oxygen is stored or handled.

Any clothing splashed or soaked with liquid oxygen or exposed to high oxygen concentrations should be removed immediately and aired for at least an hour.
